Test It Tuesday

The Test It Tuesday Campaign

Test it Tuesday is a campaign developed by several Fire and Rescue Services throughout the UK to remind businesses and home-owners to test their smoke alarms on a weekly basis.

If you follow us on social media (and we strongly recommend that you do) then you will see that we are supporters of the campaign.

Fires can happen at any time and a fully functioning smoke detector can alert you to the danger, giving you the best chance of getting out safely. Regularly testing your alarm (or those of family and friends) will give you the Peace of Mind that should a fire start, you will be given the warning you need to escape.

It is due to this principle that the Test It Tuesday campaign, and more specifically the hashtag #TestItTuesday, was created. Anyone within the fire, safety or security industry utilises the hashtag to help spread the word and remind all their followers to test their smoke alarms.

Test It Tuesday is a very simple idea with a very important message. Smoke alarms save lives, but only if they are working correctly.

Customer Satisfaction

The Importance of Customer Service

Customer service is often understated from companies that provide a service to clients.

We recently created a role specifically to improve our customer service and provide the best possible solution for our clients. Will Pateman began working with CIA in January and has already put his experience to good use by creating new ways of communicating with customers and dealing with any issues personally.

Good customer service is essential to any business that aims for success. Whether you are a small start-up or a large multi-national corporation, treating you with respect and listening carefully to your needs are among our main priorities.

Building relationships with our customer base is paramount to retaining your custom and to keep you coming back. An article by Bain and Company, published in the Harvard Business Review, reports that if businesses can prevent just 5% of customers from leaving, they can increase their bottom line profit by at least 25%. It also states that 82% of customers leave one business and go to another because of poor customer service.

A key component for creating good customer service is providing a personal connection when they try to contact a company. This is the business’ first line of contact, so we make sure our phones are being answered by a person and not an automated voice recording.

We are always trying to refine our processes and make the experience better for you. A happy customer is a loyal customer.
